Product Description
Events manager Sylvie Smith is organizing a glittering fund-raising event: a wedding show in a stately home. She has even been roped into pretending to be a bride...a bride who's five months pregnant! The bride everyone is talking about! It should be every girl's dream to design a wedding with no expense spared, but it's not Sylvie's. Longbourne Court was her ancestral home, and she's just discovered that the new owner is Tom McFarlane-her baby's secret father. Now Tom's standing in front of her, looking at her bump....

ew September 9, 2010 Jennifer Brown this book was free and boy am i glad. it would have been a waste of money. the book gave me whip lash it went so fast in the last chapter. it jumped from one scene to the next with no interchange. not to mention it was so very cheesy.
Enjoyed it September 4, 2010 Sally (Lincoln NE USA) This held my attention for some 'light reading' and I enjoyed the story. I personally believe that most 'romance' books have pretty predictable plots... but sometmes that's what I want to read. This book is no exception to that... but I felt that it was very well written, and I'll look for other books by this author.
thanks!!!
This was written for the UK - so it was hard to follow at times September 2, 2010 Mrs. Whales The story was okay. I enjoyed the old English Manor where the majority of the story takes place. But I was annoyed at the way the author lept from character to character or to different scenes with no puncuation or breaks whatsoever. I found myself gonig back at times wondering what I missed. Over all, I am glad that I stuck it out and finished the book because there is a happy ending, though it should have been elaborated on.
Well, it's free... August 27, 2010 Amber Lynn If you're really bored, this would be an okay way to pass the time, given that it won't cost you anything. That being said, if you're looking for a really good read, you should look elsewhere. There's nothing terribly horrible about it, but it is all just so very contrived and typical of this genre. There's nothing particularly interesting or captivating about it.
But, like I said, it's free. *shrug*
Even free...this book is terribly disappointing August 18, 2010 B. B. Walker (Baton Rouge) The idea of a one time fling that ends in a "wanted pregnancy" is interesting enough, however that's where the interesting ends. There is nothing I hate worse than for an author to "repeat him/herself over and over...again". How maany ways can you say the same thing! ? I suffered through to the very predictable end; skipping paragraphs and then pages at a time!
And never ventured back or missed a beat. Now that's just pitiful. I will never read another of Ms. Fielding's works. And will not recommend to my book club.
